What is mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin, as well as remove excess fat.

How long doe it take to work?

Benefits from each injection should be evident within 3 weeks of the treatment. Several treatments, 1 week apart, are often required to produce a fully satisfactory result.

How many sessions should I get?

For best results it is recommended a minimum of (6 sessions total) once a week for 6 weeks

Are the results permanent?

 After the fat is melted, it is naturally excreted. So yes it is permanent as long as you maintain a healthy diet and regular exercise

What are the side effects?

Immediate side effects from mesotherapy treatment may include redness,pricking,stinging and a burning sensation , lasting up to 2 to 3 hours at the injection sites

Are there any contraindications?

Even over-the-counter medications can affect your skin, so it is good for them to know what may be contributing to your concerns and the way your skin reacts to certain products.

After Care

  • Do not wash or take a shower for at least 8 hours treatment.
  • Not hot baths, saunas, jacuzzis and massages for 48 hours after treatment
  • After the 48 hour period, for the first week baths are allowed but are limited to 15 minutes (which will assist with any bruising that may have occurred)
  • Avoid exercising for 48 hours after treatment. Exercise will cause you to sweat and excrete the solution out the pores of the skin, which will decrease effectiveness of the treatment.
  • Drink at least 64 ounces of water the day of treatment and continue this intake of water for up to one week.
  • Sun exposure must be avoided for 48 hours after the treatment and until bruising subsides. If necessary to go into the sun, use SPF 25 or greater at all times.
  • Allergic reaction can occur in the form of small lumps the size of a quarter. Should you notice redness and or small lumps at the injection site, call your physician.
  • You may massage with Arnica gel or cream three to four times daily if swelling or bruising occurs.
